I always thought the word "orogeny" had heavy sexual connotations.
I have no fucking idea what it means without looking it up, but it sounds like it should be sexual!
Claude, you're right--it does sound vaugely like some sort of a sex act. And TP, it refers to mountain building. Which also sounds kinda dirty come to think of it.
